Celebrity portraits mark World Play-Doh day

Published on: 18th September 2018

World Play-Doh Day, which fell this year on 16th September, aims to inspire children across the globe.

To celebrate #WorldPlayDohDay Hasbro sculpted a series of unique picture-perfect Play-Doh portraits of some of the nation’s most iconic day time presenters, made completely out of Play-Doh compound.

The artists paid homage to This Morning’s Holly and Phil and hosts Dave Berry and Matt Dyson at Absolute Radio. What’s more, time lapse videos were recorded to show how the magic unfolded.

World Play-Doh Day is a global movement that captivates the imaginations of millions of children (and artists of all ages) across the globe.

Craig Wilkins, senior marketing director, Hasbro UK & Ireland, commented: “Play-Doh is an iconic brand that not only sparks nostalgia in older fans from across the globe, but also encourages a new generation of artists year-on-year.”
