The collection features construction micro-figures and playsets including the top players from the UK’s leading premiership football teams. The new Sports Stars TVCs have been months in the making and include state-of-the-art CGI animation for a target audience of boys aged 5-9. Launching on satellite and terrestrial TV on 22nd September, the campaign will deliver over 400 TVRs in the first week.
The TV schedule is one of the biggest for Character this year and will not only highlight the new collection, but it will further communicate the Golden Boot campaign that Character has put in place to support the launch. This will see fans hunt for the elusive Golden Boot tickets hidden in blind bags to win prizes such as club training sessions and kits.

The Golden Boot campaign is also an important part of the strategy, and with a dedicated website and club pages full of prizes we know this particular marketing initiative have great appeal to anyone who enjoys the beautiful game.”
