The latest additions to the iPad gaming range include two games for the hit pre-school properties Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam, as well as family favourites Ludo and Pool.
Best known for her BBC Three documentaries on the trials and tribulations of life, Cherry Healey hosted an iPieces media event in September to show children how to play the new games and champion the range to her followers.
Cherry Healey, mum to three year old daughter Coco, said: “As a mum, I know how important it is to keep kids entertained and iPieces fit perfectly into our busy lifestyle as they’re so compact, you can take them wherever you go. I love how the iPieces interact with the game to make it fun. It’s great to be able to play traditional board games on our tablets.”
Katherine Pierce, marketing manager at Jumbo Games, added: “We’re passionate about getting families to play games together and iPieces delivers this fun, interactive game technology. We’re delighted to have signed up Cherry and we feel her bubbly charisma coupled with her parenting expertise is the perfect mix to help champion the games to families in the right way.”
iPieces was named a Top 5 Gadget Show Live Kids Gadget at Toy Fair 2012. The range recently won Best Games App at the Junior Design Awards, as well as silver for Best Children’s App and bronze for Best Family App in the Loved By Parents Awards. iPieces has also been shortlisted for an award by parenting magazine Right Start.
The new games are on sale now in time for Christmas.
