Concerns are rife about the future of e-tailer Gameseek

Published on: 9th May 2018

The Gameseek marketplace has been offline for the whole of the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The company’s eBay shop has also been shut for the past few days. A message on the company’s website reads: “Our site is currently under maintenance, we apologise for any inconvenience caused”.

Consumers have taken to twitter to complain that that their orders haven’t arrived, and that they cannot get in touch with the company.

Website Trust Pilot has also received multiple posts from people whose orders have not been fulfilled, and who cannot reach the retailer by email or phone.

There were unconfirmed rumours at last week’s plaY-room show that the e-tailer might be in financial difficulty and potentially facing administration or a CVA.

Although the Gameseek website predominantly focuses on video games, it also features a significant toy section.
