Craft Buddy announces exclusive TV deal

Published on: 19th February 2019

An exclusive launch on award winning TV channel Create & Craft will see the company reach over 70m homes across the UK and US.

The exclusive deal is announced as Craft Buddy celebrates strong 2018 growth results including new retail partners, international distribution deals and a successful season of shows, including Creativeworld Frankfurt, Spring Fair and Nuremburg Toy Fair.

Craft Buddy will go live on Create & Craft at the end of February with fan favourites Crystal Art, Dawn Bibby Creations, Pretty Gets Gritty and its signature Craft Buddy range. Viewers can expect to see exclusive new designs and releases over the coming months from Craft Buddy, as part of Create & Crafts’ new leadership strategy of ambitious UK market growth, offering inspired, educational and on-trend ranges.

Gary Wadhwani, co-director at Craft Buddy, commented: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Create & Craft family. Our brands – Crystal Art, Dawn Bibby Creations, Pretty Gets Gritty and our signature Craft Buddy brand – have soared in popularity in the last 12 months, and we are so excited about bringing them to Create & Craft’s wonderful audience for the first time. We can promise a host of exciting launches across all our brands in the coming months, including lots of exclusive offers for C&C viewers, and, going forward, we are going to do what we’ve always done – work our hardest to develop craft products which our audiences love and cherish.”

Viewers should tune into Freeview 23, Sky 683, Virgin 748 or Freesat 813, or watch on Apple TV and Amazon Fire.

Retail partners are invited to join the Craft Buddy mailing list here, and to follow the company on Facebook for more details and future announcements.

The announcement marks an amicable end to Craft Buddy’s distribution on Hochanda TV, with whom the business has built a large fanbase during its positive relationship.
