The Vivid Toy Group will launch its Cut the Rope toy range in the UK over Easter with a programme of web, app and TV advertising.Cut-The-Rope300

Capitalising on the popularity of ZeptoLab’s Cut The Rope app, which has in excess of 300m downloads and over 1.5m ‘likes’ on Facebook, Vivid aims to encourage the collection of Om-Nom and friends in a variety of forms through the launch of their toy portfolio.

Neil Bandtock, Vivid’s managing director, said: “Cut The Rope is now one of the biggest game apps and particularly very strong in the UK. Our belief is that this range of collectable toys can replicate the success of other digital brands that have successfully crossed over into the toy space recently.”

In June, Zeptolab and Vivid bring to market the Candy Flick game featuring AR technology. The free-to-download game can be accessed via an on-pack solution.
