Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live returns to Europe with all-new trucks for the 2022 events; tickets go on sale today.

Live Nation and Raycom-Legacy Content Company, in partnership with Mattel, are relaunching the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live Tour, kicking off its international return to live events with new trucks in an upcoming five-stop tour across Europe. The breath-taking family entertainment tour includes dates at The O2 on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th January, with matinee and evening shows beginning at 10am and 5pm.

Tickets go on sale today (Friday September 24th) and can be purchased here.

Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live returns with more trucks than ever before. The all-new Mega Wrex truck towers with its 12-foot dinosaur design, using its 1800 horsepower to crush the competition. Fans will also be introduced to the new Bigfoot Midwest Madness, a collaboration between Hot Wheels and Bigfoot. Lastly, Race Ace will join as another new monster truck to the event series, bearing the iconic Hot Wheels flame design.

The tour continues to bring audiences the only opportunity to see real-life versions of the famous Hot Wheels monster truck toys including returning favourites Bone Shaker, Tiger Shark, V8 Bomber and Demo Derby. Performances will also feature a special appearance from the car-eating, fire-breathing transforming robot Megasaurus, and the high-flyers of Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live, Freestyle Motocross.

The popular Crash Zone Pre-Show Party will begin 2.5 hours before every performance. The unique experience offers fans access to the competition floor to see the outrageous designs and epic size of the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks. Attendees can also make the day even more memorable with an adrenaline-fueled VIP Package, including amazing views of the action, merchandise, guided Monster Truck tours and more.

“We hope that parents and kids will continue to be blown away by Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live,” said Julie Freeland, senior director of Location Based Entertainment at Mattel. “The franchise, which has been so successful at igniting the challenger spirit in kids, has allowed families to share their love of Hot Wheels and we can’t wait to bring the tour to new European cities this spring.”

Senior vice president Touring, International Music at Live Nation, Tim McWilliams, added: “As the world’s largest live-entertainment company, we’ve been part of many incredible shows, but we are especially thrilled to be working on Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live, which combines a thrilling family orientated spectacle with the iconic Hot Wheels brand.”
