David Martin announced as managing director of Posh Paws International

Lauren Shipman promoted to role of marketing and brand director.

David MartinDavid Martin is joining Posh Paws International, the UK’s leading plush toy manufacturer, as managing director, replacing Barry Groves who left the company at the end of last year. He commences duties on 24th July.

David arrives at Posh Paws armed with a wealth of toy industry experience, having held positions for a number of years at Crayola, KD Group and, most recently, Funrise. In his role at Posh Paws, David will focus on growth across the business and will work with some of the strongest licences in the sector, including Disney, Despicable Me and Powerpuff Girls.

Speaking of the appointment, Owner of Posh Paws International and Whitehouse Leisure, Phil Setter, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome David to Posh Paws and I’m confident his experience in the toy space will serve him well as he seeks to grow the company in new territories and retail spaces.”

As part of the team changes at Posh Paws International, and having excelled herself as group brand manager, Lauren Shipman has been promoted to the role of marketing and brand director.
