On a crowded stand Backshall spoke to the press and retailers about his involvement in the collection posing with 5cm micro figures of himself and the many Deadlies he comes across in his adventures.

Speaking of the appearance, Jon Diver, Character Options MD, said: “We were delighted to have Steve on board at Toy Fair to launch this new collection for Character Options. He has been greatly involved in the development of the range from the very outset and we are looking forward to showing the final product range that will be available to buy. Deadly 60 has fast become one of the UK’s favourite kids’ TV programme and we are proud to be able to bring the series to life in another way for children to enjoy.”
