This comes together with new products from existing licensees and a raft of consumer marketing initiatives in support of the Dear Zoo Pop-Up book from Macmillan Children’s Publishing.
Milly and Flynn will be launching a range of Dear Zoo wooden toys at London Toy Fair. The initial range includes a shape sorter, a peg puzzle, wooden play blocks and push and pull along toys. These new introductions will complement existing Milly and Flynn products such as the lift-the-flap puzzle and the matching pairs game.
Long-standing licensee Paul Lamond Games will be launching a new Dear Zoo dominoes game alongside it’s range of jigsaws. Master plush licensee Aurora World will continue its support of Dear Zoo by partnering with publishers Macmillan Children’s to create a book plus plush gift box-set.
In recognition of Dear Zoo’s ongoing success and to further promote author Rod Campbell’s library of titles, Macmillan Children’s Books have created an umbrella brand Dear Zoo and Friends. This initiative will be supported by a new Dear Zoo website launching in Spring 2015 and the first Dear Zoo stage show, which is set to launch later in the year.
Current Dear Zoo marketing partners include Tumble Tots, Giraffe restaurants and Eurocamp, while Cartoonito featured a Dear Zoo animation in its Christmas TV sponsorship.
