Disney talks up major 2012 licences

Walt Disney has been using Toy Fair to showcase various products from its portfolio as well as products to come throughout the year.

The Disney Princess franchise will release an all new EMEA consumer website for its girls section, which will include stories of all ten Disney Princesses.

The Disney Pixar Cars line will develop further with refreshed products from licensees such as Mattel, Hornby, Lego and Character Options.

Disney Juniors first animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, licensed merchandise will cover toys and electronics, fashion and home, stationery, and books. Meanwhile, Mattel is set to launch figures, plush, play-sets and role-play items from the same licence.

Other popular licensed toys from Disney will include a new Winnie the Pooh nursery range from TOMY featuring soothing bedtime lightshows, teething rattles and cuddly talking toys.
