Distoy will go ahead as planned

Published on: 9th March 2020

Organiser David Potter reaffirms commitment to the May event.

David Potter, organiser of the popular Distoy event, has confirmed to Toy World that the event is set to go ahead as scheduled. The show, which caters for the international toy distributor community, will take place from 26th-29th May at the usual London venues, St James’ Court and St Ermin’s Hotel.

David told Toy World: “At this point all arrangements for Distoy 2020 are going forward as originally intended and there is no plan to postpone or cancel the event. Our optimism is of course tempered by a sense of caution and we are taking due note of the day to day developments. Our future actions will be based on whatever official recommendations may or may not be made in the days and weeks to come. We’re working closely with the management of the hotels hosting the event and at this point they are taking a similarly cautious approach.”

Visitor registration for the event is now open – people looking to attend can register here: https://www.distoy.com/registration.html.
