DKL celebrates 30 years

Published on: 15th January 2019

DKL Marketing is excited to be celebrating 30 years distributing quality brands to the toy market.

March 1989 saw DKL commence UK distribution of the original Damm Trolls, which were followed soon after by the ever-popular Hama Beads, which the company still distributes today. Having chosen Northampton as its base, in order to be central to the demands of the market, the office and warehouse offer all the facilities required for first-class distribution, marketing and customer service. Being careful to select only quality trusted brands from around the world, DKL currently distributes Hama, Plus-Plus, Bloco, PlayMais, Scentco, Breyer and Escabbo.

For its 30th anniversary, DKL plans to celebrate its three decades of success while also embracing the future of the company. The DKL stand at London Toy Fair (E66) will see a celebratory theme carried throughout the show, while a restructuring of the business has taken place, allowing it to expand and grow further alongside actively looking for new suppliers.

David Allan, sales and marketing director says: “Over the last 30 years, DKL has distributed and launched many amazing brands, and we are delighted that some are still flourishing today. There have been many changes in the toy trade which we have adapted to, and we are looking forward to the next 30 years as we continue to drive our brands forward.”
