New Nikko Air DRL Campaign will air during the programme.
The Drone Racing League held the final of this year’s world championship in the UK in July, which was sponsored by Nikko Air, and Toy World was invited along to witness proceedings.
Having made their way through preliminary qualifying heats held in Germany and USA, the eight finalists represented the best of the best of the world’s drone pilots, with ages ranging between 19 and 32.
Three separate rooms at Alexandra Palace were used to set up the mile-long course for the final, as the drones raced at speeds of up to 80mph.
The results of the final are strictly embargoed, so drone enthusiasts will have to tune in to watch the DRL final from London Alexandra Palace, which will be aired on Saturday 29th July on Sky Sports Mix at 6pm, and repeated at 10pm. The series is also due to be repeated in the run-up to Christmas.
