The Minecraft Beginner’s Handbook details everything you need to know to make it through your first few days alive. The stylish hardback book will teach you how to find food and shelter before darkness falls and the monsters come looking for you. The book is full of tips on how to make a shelter, find and gather essential resources, and craft armour and weapons. The book also includes exclusive tips from Minecraft creator Markus Persson and lead game developer Jens Bergensten, and first-hand accounts from well-known Minecraft gamers and experts that will give you the knowledge you need to excel at the award-winning game.

The Minecraft Annual 2014 celebrates the limitless possibilities of the world of Minecraft, and is full of step-by-step instructions for builds and projects, tips from the experts including lead game developer Jens, things to make, games to test your brain power and codes to unravel.

The Minecraft Redstone Handbook features Redstone experts who guide you through all aspects of working with redstone, including mining for redstone ore, using repeaters and power sources and creating a variety of useful circuits that will help you create doors, lighting systems and traps.

Sarah Bates, publishing and marketing director, Egmont Publishing Group, commented: “We are extremely proud of our first Minecraft books; we’ve aimed to make them look as similar to that of the books in the game so fans will be familiar with this design style. We think they look and feel fantastic. With hardback covers, gold foiling, embossing and a paperstock that you could build a house from, we’re extremely excited about the fan reaction in October.”
