ELC celebrates Coronation with Happyland set

Published on: 17th April 2023

The Happyland King and Queen Coronation Carriage Set has been designed to provide a memento of the royal occasion for little ones.

On Saturday 6th May, His Majesty King Charles III will become the 40th monarch to be crowned King, and to celebrate, the Early Learning Centre’s exclusive Happyland King and Queen Coronation Carriage Set has been unveiled.

The celebratory set will be available to purchase in-stores and online from Friday 5th May and is available to pre-order now.

Designed for little hands, the Happyland King and Queen Coronation Carriage Set will help little ones discover the world around them and develop social skills. Children can re-enact the Coronation procession with the chunky King and Queen figures, along with the included horse and coronation carriage. Suitable for ages 1 year +, the set can be combined with other Happyland sets for even more make-believe fun.

The Early Learning Centre has been owned by The Entertainer since its acquisition by the toy retailer in 2019, when Gary Grant, founder and executive chairman  expressed his pride in being the new owner of the brand: “ELC has an amazing heritage, supporting children’s learning and development through play for nearly 50 years,” he said. “It is trusted by parents and grandparents alike, many of whom remember the brand being part of their own childhoods.”

The Early Learning Centre’s full collection of Happyland products can be viewed at www.elc.co.uk/brands/happyland.
