Emmerse Studios to debut Quirk! at Spring Fair

Published on: 1st February 2019

Emmerse Studios, the company behind the card game Quirk!, will be unveiling a new addition to the series of award-winning family games.

After a whirlwind year in 2018, Quirk!’s designer Emma May is excited to see her games growing in popularity and is keen to build on this momentum. Last October, she successfully funded a third version of Quirk! on Kickstarter and Quirk! Monsters will be presented to retailers for the first time in Birmingham, alongside the original Quirk! and Quirk! Legends.

Quirk! is an easy to grasp card game that plays like go-fish charades, where players make impressions and act out characters to win Quirks from their opponents. The beautifully illustrated cards encourage children to use their imaginations to express themselves, socialise and build their confidence, whilst also honing their acting and vocal skills. Each game contains 56 cards consisting of 39 character cards, seven tactic cards, seven skip cards and three Quirk Off! defence cards and is suitable for players aged five and above.

Emma May commented: “I’m delighted to be exhibiting at Spring Fair and making an even greater impact with Emmerse Studios this year. Quirk! has had a solid start and I am proud of how quickly my game has become a family favourite, but now I have three games for 2019, I am looking forward to welcoming more customers on-board and seeing Quirk! listed in more outlets. I am also working on plans to refresh my website and offer a more engaging online experience for fans of the game, so it’s a very busy time and I cannot wait to see what’s in-store for Quirk! over the coming months.”

For a demonstration of Quirk! and to see the new look packaging and counter display units, visit Emmerse Studios at Spring Fair in Hall 5, Stand M05. For more information about the game, email hello@emmersestudios.com.
