Game makers are searching for a Very Important Player to be a star on the day of the launch.

The makers of the new official Monopoly: Stirling Edition board are searching for a VIP – Very Important Player as well as Person – to be a star for the day when the game is launched in the city.

The winner will receive a signed board from retailer Toy Hub in Bridge of Allan, one of the retailers that will be stocking the game, and will be presented with their prize at Toy Hub by the Mr Monopoly character in costume.

Toy Hub’s Gerard Gourley commented: “We are extremely excited about the new Stirling Monopoly board game and we look forward to welcoming the Stirling VIP along with Mr Monopoly himself.”

Winning Moves UK games executive Emma Lodwick added: “The winner will get to be a real Stirling VIP for the day. The board will be a love letter to Stirling and we are absolutely delighted with how it is shaping up, so close now to its production stage. We feel that searching for the person who loves the city the most, and awarding them the the first board, is a great way to help celebrate the launch.”

To be in with a chance of being the VIP for the day just email on the topic ‘Why I am in Love with Stirling’. Entries close at 23.59pm on 31st August 2017.

As well as announcing a VIP search, Emma has revealed that Stirling Castle has landed a leading space on the new game and will be hosting the official launch on 6th October, the same morning that the new game hits shop shelves, both actual and online.
