Epoch enjoys successful appearance at Gloworm Festival

Published on: 29th August 2018

Sylvanian Families and Aquabeads products were on display for children to play with.

Gloworm Festival took place on 18th and 19th August. The festival is aimed at families with children aged 0-13, offering music, art and entertainment.

Sylvanian mascots Freya and Ralph performed a dance show and greeted fans at the event, while 500 goody bags were given out across the two days.

Sylvanian Town, Nursery and Village dioramas featured play tables which enabled children to interact with new products. A competition was held, where 350 entrants sought to find Freya Chocolate hidden in one of the displays.

Epoch’s arts and crafts brand Aquabeads hosted a Creators Keepers stand in the Toymaster Play Village, where guests could have a hands-on experience with the beads. Over 1,250 customers made Aquabeads creations to take home.

Marketing manager Yuki Otsuka commented: “We had a fantastic two days at Gloworm Festival. Customers were really excited to try the new range, and the new Sylvanian Baby Band Mystery Packs were the star of the show. With sunny weather, a lively atmosphere and happy children and families in our key demographic, the whole day felt like it was perfect for both our brands.”
