Epoch continued its 30th anniversary celebrations for Sylvanian Families yesterday by hosting a picnic for over 1,000 fans at Hatchlands Park in Surrey.
Jacc Batch, who reportedly has one of the biggest Sylvanian collections in the world, worth over £60,000, attended the event.
The Sylvanian mascot characters entertained the crowd with live performances of singing and dancing throughout the day. There was also a host of activities including face painting, pass the parcel, musical chairs and colouring.
Guests enjoyed the Sylvanian Families Nature Trail; the trail opened in the woodland within the grounds of the park in May, and is a permanent visitor attraction.
Epoch is holding a similar event for Sylvanian Families’ fans in the north at Wallington National Trust in Northumberland on 1st August.
Sally Carnall, marketing manager, Epoch, said: “We were thrilled to put on this event for our Sylvanian Families’ fans. Hatchlands Park National Trust was the perfect venue, with the Georgian mansion a stunning backdrop to all the party activities, and of course the Sylvanian Families Nature Trail is in the grounds of the park, and already proving popular since we launched it in May. We’re looking forward to our second event next month in the north.”
