Extreme Fliers launches Micro Drone 3.0 bundle at Toy Fair

Published on: 26th January 2016

The company is showcasing the drone along with a VR headset, HD Wi-Fi camera, new iOS Micro Drone 3.0 app and 3D frame at Gallery 132.

Extreme-Fliers-480The Micro Drone 3.0 delivers an enhanced experience with a new HD Wi-Fi camera, upgraded flying capabilities, refined design, a dedicated app and First Person View (FPV) since exceeding its Indiegogo funding target mid-last year.

The palm-sized drone is a convenient size for flying both indoors and out, with the ability to fly in winds up to 45MPH. Despite its compact size, the drone is durable and stable, built to withstand those inevitable bumps and knocks. Pre-built and ready to fly, its modular design ensures kids can easily attach accessories.

The fully featured Micro Drone 3.0 app lets the user experience flying in FPV on their iPhone. The camera connects via Wi-Fi, streaming live footage through the VR headset to the user’s phone screen, giving them the impression of piloting the drone as if they were on board.

The drone bundle, which includes a handset controller, HD Wi-Fi camera, VR headset, battery and charger, is currently available to pre-order from Indiegogo, and will be launching in UK retailers later this year. The app is available to download from the App Store and will be available on Android devices soon.

Visitors can see the full bundle in action at Gallery 132.
