FA Cup shocks: Subbuteo style

ITV showed a video of Subbuteo scenes at 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon as part of their FA Cup Final show.Subbuteo300

ITV’s recorded footage showed the Stadium of Fingers, among other scenes, representing this year’s FA Cup shocks.

Richard Wells, sales director of Paul Lamond Games, said: “It’s fantastic that Subbuteo was in the spotlight prior to the kick-off of such a momentous match and that the game was in front of so many football fans for almost three minutes during prime time viewing.

“The coverage was a real boost to the Subbuteo brand and we are delighted with this extensive coverage which couldn’t have been aired at a better time.”

New developments to the classic version of Subbuteo include a luxury playing pitch, enhanced detailing of the figures and paint application, as well as newly-shaped bases making it easier to move the players in a straight line.
