BlogOnToys took place over the weekend at Manchester’s Hotel Football.
Now in its fifth year, the event’s hashtag #BlogOnToys trended on Twitter across the UK for most of the day, whilst many from the event attendees continue to share and talk about it across social media.
Attended by over 200 of the UK’s most influential parenting bloggers and influencers, the networking event hosted 32 companies. It provided an excellent opportunity for leading brands to meet bloggers face to face and showcase new products, and to also forge working relationships to build their brand awareness amongst their key target audience.
Brands in attendance included Ravensburger with GraviTrax, Party Popteenies, Zuru and Nintendo with Labo. Kids@Play used the event to launch its new plush Niffler Babies.
Laura Seaton, founder of BlogOn, commented: “I’m delighted with how our new dedicated toy event went. We wanted it to celebrate all the toys that have been released in the run up to the Christmas, and the event also hosted our 2nd Annual Toy awards which we hope will also help highlight products as we approach the festive season.”
Kids@Play managing director Nathaniel Southworth said: “We were thrilled to receive so much praise and feedback from the attendees at the event as they tried the Harry Potter Real Talking Sorting Hat for themselves. We were delighted to win the Licensed Toy category and humbled to receive the Bloggers choice award selected from all categories.”
