First day of Toy Fair is a huge success

The opening day of Toy Fair was filled with events and special appearances

The big names of the day were X factor stars Stereo Kicks, who made a quick media appearance for Toy Fair TV.

Pixie Lott was also at the show on the Simba Smoby stand to launch her new Steffi Love doll collection.

Justin Fletcher, aka Mr Tumble, was at the Golden Bear stand in his classic costume promoting the Mr Tumble Something Special bundle.

Justin said: “It’s important that we get products related to the show right, including colours, textures and designs. It’s lovely to see that the quality is high.”

The Galt Toys stand saw Strictly Come Dancing favourites Kristina Rihanoff and Aliona
Vilani launch the Dazzling Dancers Sensational Sequins craft set.

Anne Wood and Steve Roberts were on the Golden Bear stand in the morning to launch the toy range for their new show Twirlywoos, whilst Milkshake TV presenters Jen Pringle and Derek Moran were on the John Adams stand promoting the new Pip Ahoy range.

Even Mugly, the world’s ugliest dog was at Toy Fair to launch the Ugllys Pet Shop on the Character Options stand.

Lastly, the new Shaun the Sheep range was launched on the Rainbow Designs stand with Shaun himself. The launch was complete with free champagne, cupcakes and a raffle to win tickets to the film premiere.
