First trailer for Moshi Monsters: The Movie released

Making the leap from the small to big screen on Friday 20th December, the official 90-second trailer for Moshi Monsters: The Movie has been revealed.Moshi-Monsters-The-Movie-LO

The trailer exclusively broke Thursday morning on ITV’s Daybreak, followed by MSN Entertainment.

Mind Candy announced the partnership with Universal Pictures International Entertainment in August. The film is set for theatrical release in the UK and Ireland.

Produced by Mind Candy in conjunction with Cornwall-based animation studio Spider Eye, Moshi Monsters: The Movie will see the six lead monsters travel across the weird and wonderful world of Moshi on a fun-filled adventure. The film will see the monsters in a race against time to collect the ransom for an ancient and extremely rare Moshling egg, which has been stolen by the evil Dr Strangeglove. With famous characters Katsuma and Poppet at the helm, the monsters learn that both Monsters and Moshlings can overcome big odds, when they stand together.

Leading character, Katsuma also stars in his own video game Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed which launched for the Nintendo DS and 3DS handheld gaming systems.The brand new game is a side-scrolling, action-adventure platform game rendered in a 3D cartoon style and designed to appeal to Moshi fans of all ages across the globe.
