Fisher-Price launches First Steps Jumperoo

Published on: 16th May 2014

10 years ago Fisher-Price created the Jumperoo, which has sold over 5m units worldwide, and is now launching the new First Steps Jumperoo.

The new and modern design not only allows a baby to jump, spin, discover and play, but they can now take those very important first steps, as the sturdy free-standing steel frame provides support to walk safely.

Dom Gubitosi, veteran Fisher-Price baby gear designer comments: “We know that parents love watching their baby take their first steps and we developed this new design to help babies reach this memorable milestone. The product originated with an ‘A’ frame, then evolved into the three-spring design and over the years, we have modified this to become more aesthetically pleasing with the curved tubes, which ultimately led to the creation of the First Steps Jumperoo”.

The product will be showcased at the opening day of The Baby Show in Birmingham tomorrow where Fisher-Price representatives will be hosting demonstrations of the First Steps Jumperoo to expectant and new mums while giving insight into the product’s evolution.
