Fisher-Price showcases Apptivity range at Baby Show

Published on: 20th February 2013

As headline sponsor for the Baby Show in 2013, Fisher-Price will unveil its ‘Something for the Dads’ area at the first event of the year this weekend, showcasing the latest innovations in app-based toys for babies.

Building on the success of its app-cessories launched in 2012 – the Laugh & Learn Apptivity Case designed to protect parents’ iPhone and iPad devices – Fisher-Price is introducing the Apptivity Gym, suitable from birth, and the Apptivity Storybook Reader, Apptivity Puppy and Apptivity Monkey for baby six months plus.

Fisher-Price now offers an entire range of app-based toys that lets babies learn and play through their own apps while protecting a parent’s iPhone, iTouch or iPad. Free to download from the App Store, the Laugh & Learn apps, including Let’s Count Animals, Where’s Puppy’s Nose and the new Storybook Rhymes, have had over 2.8 million downloads and the number continues to grow.

The Apptivity range will be supported by extensive marketing and PR activities throughout the year.
