Fisher-Price takes home Tommy’s award

Published on: 17th July 2019

The awards were hosted by Saira Khan and Giovanna Fletcher in central London last week.

Fisher-Price has been awarded Best Baby Bouncer for the Jumperoo at the UK’s biggest baby and pregnancy awards ceremony, the Tommy’s Awards.

The interactive Fisher-Price Jumperoo introduces curiosity and wonder through play. From developing gross motor skills to enhancing cause and effect, the Jumperoo has been a BabyGear staple to help give children the best possible start.

The Tommy’s charity provides funding into research about the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth, while also providing support for parents-to-be. The awards recognise heroes of families who have been through pregnancy complications, or the loss of a baby, and companies that support parents and parents-to-be across the UK. They bring together supporters, families, researchers, brands and healthcare professionals who have come #TogetherForChange.

The awards took place in central London on Thursday 11th July, recognising the Best Family Brands as voted for by Bounty’s trusted Mums Panel. The event was hosted by Saira Khan and Giovanna Fletcher, who have also helped raise awareness of this worthy cause.

Kelly Philp, UK marketing lead at Mattel, comments: “We are honoured to have received this fantastic award and are very proud that the Fisher-Price Jumperoo has been acknowledged for making parents lives easier. With other great brands nominated, we would like to thank everyone that voted for us. We will continue to strive to help make a difference to parents as they embark on the most important journey, parenthood.”
