Flair opens the search for the UK’s Team Geomag

Published on: 11th October 2012

With its geometric building properties, Flair has taken Geomag to schools across the country in a national search for the UK’s official Team Geomag.

Throughout October and November, schools across the UK will be taking part in building tasks to whittle the search down to a shortlist of just 5 schools for a live online interactive challenge. Following two features in First News, presenting 2.6 opportunities to see the campaign’s call to action, schools across the country applied to be part of the campaign. Of all entries received, 100 schools have now been chosen to take part in the first stage of the challenge.

Selected pupils at each school will have to complete tasks using their favourite Geomag sets in the collection and send in photographic evidence of their best efforts. In addition, their classmates will be able to take part in their own challenges with the teachers’ resource pack that accompanies each entry kit.

Stage one will be complete after October half term and then the five finalists will take part in the live speed challenge. Eventually, a team will be judged as the ultimate Geomag Constructors of the year, winning gifts for themselves and valuable resources for their school.
