Flair receives recognition for heritage toys

Published on: 26th November 2019

Flair has received awards for Plasticine, Stickle Bricks and the Original Spirograph Deluxe set.

Flair is celebrating a raft of recognition for the company’s heritage brands in this year’s autumn toy awards announcements.

Demonstrating how one of the world’s timeless classic can be adapted to the modern era, Plasticine took top billing in the Creative Play Awards with the Plasticine Movie Maker winning the Painting, Colouring and Modelling category for age 8-11 years.

Stickle Bricks, celebrating 50 years this year, was also a winner in the recently announced UKMums.tv Mums Choice Awards, which are voted for by parents and child-carers. The Classic Stickle Bricks Fun Tub was presented the Gold Award in the Construction Toys category.

The two top awards followed an Arts & Crafts bronze for The Original Spirograph Deluxe Set in the Made for Mums Awards announced in October, where it was found to be the best product for learning potential.

Emmanuelle Cadet, head of marketing at Flair, said: “We are extremely proud to have such well known and trusted brands in our portfolio. This year’s awards success is testament to the products’ timeless play appeal that is as relevant today as it was when they were first launched.”
