Flair teams up with Haven Holidays for Plasticine

The event, which combines modelling with Plasticine and Halloween, will reach 30,000 children at the holiday parks in one of their busiest weeks of the year.

Through October half term, Plasticine monster modelling packs have been collated for each of the 36 Haven Holiday parks. Activities will include making monster board games with Plasticine, the creation of life-size Plasticine sculpted skulls for older children and a modelling competition for all children that attend the kidsclubs during the Plasticine event days. As part of the activity over 700 Plasticine prizes will be won and everyone taking part will receive a certificate and Plasticine sample pack as a reward.

The activity has been advertised throughout the park and also on a promotional video sent out to Haven subscribers which sits on YouTube/HavenHolidays. In addition, the Haven Facebook and Twitter pages will host a vote for the nation’s favourite model, all of which will further the awareness of the Plasticine brand.

Mundip Hunjan, assistant product manager, commented: “It’s been a colossal feat to bring together all the samples, activity sheets and Plasticine slabs into tailor-made kits for each park. It will all be worthwhile as in just one week we will be allowing tens of thousands of children to experience the fun that can be had with just a small amount of Plasticine and a sprinkling of imagination. We know the children will have tremendous fun creating Plasticine Halloween monsters, whatever their age but importantly this event will hopefully encourage them to choose modelling with Plasticine as a preferred creative activity once they return home.”
