Flair’s Messi Football Training range teams up with SV2 and CheekySport

Published on: 19th March 2018

GP Flair has taken a unique approach to online activity for its successful football collection.

With a World Cup year ahead, GP Flair is ramping up the support for its successful Messi Football Training range, creating a series of activities with football fanatic and social influencer SV2, in conjunction with the online sporting channel CheekySport.

SV2 is a young football fanatic who uses his own football talents for his digital content to provide viewers with skills training, challenges, unboxing and general football information. Over two years he has gained 340K subscribers and has had a total of 32m views. His audience is perfectly targeted to the UK and also football fans, making his channels the ideal platforms for the Messi Football range.

The Messi Football Training activation went live on 15th March, and includes four different videos, created and edited by SV2, which bring to life the Messi product line with shots, angles and sensitive use of the branding.

This is also supported by the fun sporting channel CheekySport, which will be placing content on its own social sites including Snapchat and Twitter. The channel has almost 100K subscribers on YouTube and 13m views, the majority of which have been generated through sports fans in the UK.

Sybil Baiden, product manager, GP Flair, commented: “This campaign is perfect for our Messi Football line as the audience could not be more targeted. It was also very important to put together content that was fun to watch and true to life. Yes, the products are used and mentioned, but never at the expense of the content, which we think is the perfect way to show them at their best.”
