The UK distributor is bringing the world’s most advanced consumer drone to the UK.

flyingtoys480The new Phantom 4 will be available from mid-March, adding to an already impressive quadcopter offering. According to the company, the technology inside the new drone is the most advanced ever seen inside a consumer drone and should appeal to flyers of all abilities.

The Phantom 4 has five cameras on-board, one of them a 4K (Ultra High Definition) camera to capture footage. With the aid of computer vision software, it is able to fly autonomously and avoid collisions with solid objects.

A new feature called TapFly means users can push a button to take-off and set a distance the drone can go, and live video is streamed on-screen.

The Phantom 4 has ActiveTrack, which means the drone can stay close to a pre-defined subject whilst moving and simultaneously capture footage. For advanced flyers, the Phantom 4 has sports mode which increases the top speed from 35 to 45mph.
