Fundamentally-children-480The FSB Hertfordshire Business Awards 2016 has named Amanda as a finalist in the Business Person of The Year category, based on an entry outlining her roles as founder and MD of Fundamentally Children, author of her book, Play, and a well-respected media spokesperson on child development, play and toys.

Fundamentally Children is also up against one other finalist for the Ebusiness of the Year category. The company runs a successful consumer site with regular reviews of new toys, apps and children’s products, as well as parenting advice, child development insight and comment on current news. The company also this year launched a new industry site, www.fundamentallychildrenhq.co.uk, which offers industry insight and information on services and work in the sector.

In the National Mumandworking awards, Amanda has been nominated for the High Profile Working Parent of The Year award. This award is decided by a public vote at http://www.mumandworking.co.uk/Awards/vote

Amanda commented: “We’re so excited to have made it this far in all three award categories, and while I’m incredibly flattered by my personal nominations, I’m also delighted that the team at Fundamentally Children has been recognised in the Ebusiness of the Year category. I have a great team of people working with me, who are passionate about what they do and being the best they can be, so I have everything crossed that we bring home the trophies.”

The FSB Hertfordshire Business Awards winners will be announced on 23rd June. The National Mumandworking Awards 2016 will be hosted by NatWest on 11th October.
