Funko Europe’s virtual showroom is open for business

Published on: 26th January 2021

Funko Europe’s interactive cyber emporium, the company’s first ever virtual showroom, opens this week showcasing nearly 400 products.

Funko Europe is launching into 2021 with its first-ever virtual showroom for retail customers and media, and promises users a “memorable brand experience”. The showroom opened on Monday 25th January, and appointments are still available.

In the absence of the usual trade shows, and in lieu of being able to present at the showroom based in Funko’s London HQ, the virtual showroom will highlight all the company’s latest products, as well as new releases which are set to  launch throughout the year.

Eva Verhaak, head of strategic marketing and sales said, “We are so excited to bring our products to life with our cyber emporium this January. This year’s product categories are stronger than ever, and our focus on celebrating fandom has truly elevated through new form factors, strong licences and unique items for all ages.”

Nearly 400 products will be on e-display, and will include everything from Loungefly fashion accessories, apparel, Pop! Vinyl figures, advent calendars, and board games to card games, toys, impulse items, special collectible items and much more.

“Furthermore, the showroom simulation will house several ‘rooms’ with interactive elements for users to experience, adding a memorable brand experience to the presentations,” explained Eva. “We can’t meet our customers but we can bring Funko to them. It’s also Funko Europe’s fourth birthday on Tuesday 26th January – so a perfect way to celebrate.”

Trade buyers are advised to contact angela.lee@funko.com to make an appointment.
