Funko to debut Bitty Pop! at London Toy Fair

Published on: 20th January 2023

The Bitty Pop! line comprises tiny versions of Funko’s iconic Pop! vinyl collectibles, with the first wave featuring characters from Disney and Harry Potter.

In a global exclusive, Funko Europe will launch the international first look at Bitty Pop!, the brand-new, micro-sized collectible, at London Toy Fair, taking the famous Pop! form factor to another level.

On display for the first time at the UK’s largest dedicated toy, game and hobby trade and media show, the small but mighty introduction of Bitty Pop! will give visitors an up-close look at the 7/8” figurines, which will be launching with classic Disney characters and Warner Bros. favourites from Harry Potter.

From July 2023, the innovative new classics will be released as a 4-pack for £12.99, with 16 miniature Pop! collectible characters available at launch. There will also be mystery ‘Chase’ figures to collect.

Funko’s Eva Verhaak, VP of marketing and business development, recently selected Bitty Pop! as the line she’s most excited to launch this year for Toy World’s special ‘Look Ahead’ Touching Base. Speaking to us for the January issue, she said: “I’m excited about our new Funko Bitty Pop! line. The range encapsulates our iconic Pop! vinyl figure brand, with each character shrunken to a micro sized version of the original, just under one inch in height. The quality is phenomenal for something so small. Bitty Pop! is a new and exciting way for existing and new Funko fans alike to celebrate their favourite characters in micro size.”

She added: “The first wave features characters from Disney and Harry Potter and we’re so excited for our launch to market in 2023, with many more waves to come. They’ll be available in a four-figure set, with three visible and one hidden chase. We encourage fans to seek out the whole range and assemble their collection in our proportioned acrylic display cases. There are 16 to collect per series.”
