Camden’s leading charitable foundation, Fitzrovia Youth in Action empowers kids to create positive change.
Generation Media has announced that it will be dedicating the equivalent of 30 working days this year to volunteering with Fitzrovia Youth in Action.
Set up by local young people in 1997, Fitzrovia Youth in Action is Camden’s leading charitable foundation. The group empowers kids and young people to create positive change in their community.
Members of the Generation Media team will be able to choose from several events to volunteer their time to, including community gardening days, children’s football tournaments and Christmas community dinners.
Lisa Morgan, managing director at Generation Media, commented: “We are delighted to be supporting Fitzrovia Youth in Action. This project is important to us because the work we do is primarily in the kids, youth and family space – donating company time allows us to give back and positively contribute to the development of future generations. Volunteering in our local community was a suggestion from our well-being committee and we are already planning on making this an annual occurrence to sit alongside our other charitable events and donations. ”
