GP Flair has unveiled a partnership with Eureka!, the National Children’s Museum in Halifax, to host a Geomag construction area throughout the Summer which adds a touch of playful magnetism to this award-winning attraction.
The Geomag area will be open every Sunday in the museum’s theatre as part of Science Sunday, which is just one of the seven different themes to be enjoyed each day throughout the summer by visitors. As part of the event, crates of the Geomag components will be available for children (and parents) to construct and build to their heart’s content. Plus, visitors will also be asked to vote for their favourite structure or building such as Big Ben and Tower Bridge, and to also draw one of their own. The winner will see their ideas built by professional Geomag sculptors at the attraction in the autumn.
Tom Warman, director of marketing and development from Eureka!, said: “We are delighted to have Geomag as part of our awesome six weeks summer Playfest. It adds a new 3D dimension to our programme of activities and fits perfectly with Science Sundays as children will be able to discover the principles of magnets in an incredibly hands-on way. Discovery through play is what Eureka! is all about so Geomag is such a perfect fit.”
Andrew Brown from GP Flair added: “Creating the Geomag area at Eureka was an ideal opportunity for us to demonstrate the unique construction properties of the Geomag kits. The hands on play will ensure massive brand awareness amongst tens of thousands of children throughout the summer, whilst the added bonus of creating a ‘children’s choice’ display of Geomag Structures on site will add to the reach through the autumn.”
The Eureka! Campaign is just one part of a full schedule of Geomag Marketing and PR initiatives, and comes as new Geomag lines are launched for Autumn/Winter including the new Police-themed Geomag Wheels collection. For more information, call Flair on 0208 643 0320 or email sales@Flairplc.co.uk
