Geomagworld success in multiple product awards

Published on: 12th October 2018

2018 sees a record breaking year with toy award recognition.

One of the main objectives of Geomagworld is the development of children’s creativity through play with its innovative and quality Swiss made products. Evidence of this is the recent multiple successes for items across the full Geomagworld portfolio with a number of prestigious award wins.

Spring/summer saw the receipt of Gold Pal Awards for the Magicube Story Building Set, Freebuilding and Mix and Match, an Education Resources Award for Magicube Freebuilding Set as well as a Gold Independent Toy Award for the Geomag Classic Confetti 127 piece Set.

Following on from this and to add to the commendations already received, Geomagworld reported receiving ‘recommended’ status from the highly prestigious Good Toy Guide. Many of the items tested received top scores within the individual review categories. Now as the core selling period approaches, there has been further recognition with a Bronze win in the Made for Mums Best Construction category for the newly introduced Mechanics Gravity Shoot and Catch System. Magicube Freebuilding and Mechanics Gravity Motor System were also finalists.

The Magicube range has received praise and recognition with a Gold Award win in the Bizziebaby Awards for the Mix and Match Set. Magicube Word Building Set was also awarded Gold in the recent Fall Pal Awards, whilst the Geomag Confetti 88 piece set was also awarded a 3rd place position in the recent BlogOn Awards. Magicube was also a finalist in the recent Kind & Jugend Innovation Awards.

Nikki Jeffery, senior marketing consultant, commented: “2018 has been a tremendous year for Geomagworld and the brands within our portfolio. To know that consumers and the trade alike are as passionate as we are about our products as we are is a real joy. The volume and diversity of awards we have received this year is an amazing achievement and we especially appreciate the recognition from so many respected bodies within the toy industry.”
