Gibsons enters its fourth generation

Gibsons is proud to announce that the company has been handed down to its fourth generation.

gibsons-480Gibsons’ chairman, Michael Gibson, first joined the company in 1966 when it sold indoor and outdoor games and pastimes, and has seen many changes over 50 years.

As Gibsons enters its fourth generation, founder Harry Percy’s great-granddaughter, Kate Gibson, will step up to become Gibsons’ new managing director, with Michael’s niece Nicki Gumbrell, becoming the new sales director.

“We are extremely fortunate to have such a strong heritage; it is a big part of who we are today,” said Kate. “I am really looking forward to the challenges ahead, and alongside a great team I’m delighted to be able to take our company into its next phase.”
