Gibsons Games relaunches 221b Baker Street

Published on: 6th January 2016

Gibsons Games has recently focused its attention on relaunching classic games and updating them for today’s audience.

The most successful relaunch is the Sherlock Holmes inspired detective board game, 221b Baker Street. The game challenges players to solve individually written cases by travelling around the streets of Victorian London searching for clues.

Both the game and packaging have been completely redesigned since its original launch back in 1981.

Managing director Nick Wright commented: “We are absolutely delighted with the success of this game and we have been taken aback by the level of demand. With the resurgence of traditional board games, 221b Baker Street is a classic which will continue to entertain generations for years to come. The next re-release is the board game Wembley, another Gibsons classic, which will be available from April.”
