Lisle Licensing has been confirmed as UK licensing agent for the property.
Glimmies has had a positive reaction in retail previews over the whole of Europe, with talks of a US launch partner. Having launched on Boxing Day in Italy, over 250,000 units have sold in just under three weeks. The brand is set to launch on 11th February in the UK through GP Flair with full support of UK retailers and a launch plan including TV, digital, print and YouTube placements. In addition an interactive FSDU has been created for an in-store experience.
The property centres on magical star fairies that have a light up in the dark feature, styling influenced by forest animals and each with their own personality. With many to discover, they offer a whole new option in the girls market. In line with this a full roll out of Glimmies merchandise is also planned, and to bring this to fruition Giochi Preziosi has appointed Lisle Licensing as UK licensing agent.
