Global Kids Fashion Week to feature Harumika virtual runway show

Published on: 8th February 2021

The virtual runway show, Mini Mode Sponsored by Harumika, will take place on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th February during London Fashion Week.

This season, Mini Mode has teamed up with Harumika from Bandai as a sponsor of Mini Mode’s virtual show. Harumika’s themed toy mannequin collections are popular with young fashionistas who can create their very own line of bespoke couture designs without the need for any needles, thread, glue or scissors. This season, a new collection is launching, with designs and fabrics inspired by creative agency NellyRodi.

Founded by UK childrenswear designer, Amanda Rabor, Mini Mode provides a unique spotlight on kid’s fashion, from toddlers through to teens. Mini Mode is about empowerment and building self-esteem for kids, whilst providing a new platform for the global kids’ fashion industry, which champions diversity and promotes inclusivity on every level.

Mini Mode Sponsored by Harumika will consist of two virtual runway shows. The Industry Show will take place on Friday 19th February 2021 at 3pm and will feature the latest A/W 2021 collections. The Consumer Show will take place on Saturday 20th February 2021 at 3pm and will feature the latest See-Now-Buy-Now collections for S/S 2021.

Amanda Rabor, Founder and CEO of Mini Mode says: “Times have changed dramatically in the last twelve months in ways that can offer us new opportunities to share our gifts and talents. Our sponsors are passionate about reaching new audiences who are as diverse and inclusive as Mini Mode and our show offerings will be creative and fun.”

As previously reported, IMC’s VIP Pets will also be showcasing the new range of VIP Pets Mini Fans on the runway at Mini Mode. The team is working with the Mini Mode team to create a collection of wigs for the show’s models to wear on the runway, duplicating the long, colourful hairstyles from the VIP Pets Mini Fans dolls. The VIP Pets Mini Fans dolls themselves will also feature on the catwalk alongside the show’s models.
