Golden Bear anticipates continued success for key pre-school brands

The company’s Twirlywoos and In the Night Garden ranges are expected to continue to drive in success in 2016.

goldenbear480The In the Night Garden Ninky Nonk Musical Activity Train and Talking Soft Toys have continued to define a successful year for Golden Bear. In addition, the company has been pleased with the host of toy awards it has received for its hero lines, such as the Musical Activity Train.

The Ninky Nonk Train & Track Set was selected as a top item, along with the Twirlywoos Big Red Boat Playset for the Tots Get Busy Dream Toys category in November.

Along with a positive response from parenting bloggers and being featured across national parenting magazine gift guides, this has helped to deliver strong sales across the range.

Golden Bear has seen this pattern being replicated with its new Twirlywoos range which launched in June. Led by hero product the Big Red Boat Playset and the character plush, including the popular Twirlytop Toodloo, the company is seeing strong sales across the Twirlywoos product lines.

“The engaging characterisation, everyday themes and elements found in the In the Night Garden TV programme are reflected throughout our product line, which continues to be an evergreen licence for us. Similarly, it is important that the Twirlywoos toy range conveys the essence of what the show is all about – centred around fun and play” commented Katherine Pierce, senior licensing and marketing manager.
