Golden Bear appoints Norton and Co

Golden Bear Toys has announced the appointment of Norton and Co to handle the PR across itsGolden-Bear-Logo300brand portfolio for 2015.

The brief will include a campaign around the launch of Twirlywoos and Hey Duggee in the UK in addition to supporting existing licenses.

Working alongside the in-house brand and marketing teams, Norton will focus on developing working partnerships with Licensors across the Golden Bear brands and implementing PR campaigns to drive new product launches and range introductions.

Barry Hughes, commercial director at Golden Bear, said: “We were impressed with the creativity and industry insight Nortons offer. Their skill base, events expertise and third party relationships present us with a perfect partnership to take existing brands forward and launch our new licensed ranges.”

Tony Norton, chairman of Norton and Co, believes the appointment “offers a natural extension to our existing client base and builds on our recognized expertise in the pre-school market. We look forward to working with Golden Bear across both its established, iconic brand ranges and their new licenses for 2015.”
