Golden Bear signs master toy deal for Chloe’s Closet

Golden Bear has signed a master toy licence for pre-school show, Chloe’s Closet.

A range of products is set for launch, including collectable figurines, character play-sets and accessories, small soft toys, talking soft toys and plush sets with roll out from the second half of 2012 in the UK and Ireland with further European and worldwide territories planned.

John Hales Chairman Golden Bear said: “We are delighted to have been appointed master toy licensee for this adorable girl’s property. The team at Golden Bear are excited to be working with Moonscoop on the range which will be launching autumn/winter 2012.”

Chloe’s Closet, has sold to major TV networks worldwide, in the UK the series has been airing on CITV/ITV since January 2011. The series has aired on Turner Broadcasting’s Cartoonito channel since June 2011 where it is a top rating show and will broadcast in a new primetime slot over the Christmas holidays.

Turner Enterprises have been appointed UK licensing and merchandising agent.

Golden Bear are leaders in this field so we are very happy they are on board and look forward to rolling out high-quality products in the UK with other territories to follow. This is the first step in a strong global toy programme for the brand.”

Chloe’s Closet follows the fun-filled adventures of an adorable, imaginative little girl named Chloe who discovers magical new worlds while playing dress-up in her closet. Each of the diverse universes has a number of locations and a number of songs.

With each new costume Chloe tries on, she is swept up in a fantastical journey with her best friend and constant companion, her security blanket named Lovely Carrot. Chloe’s exploits also encourage the audience to celebrate how delightful it is to be a little kid embarking upon a fabulously fun and fearless, anything-can-happen journey.
