In-store from 11am on Saturday 24th May, and headed up by leading child psychologist Dr Amanda Gummer, the team from the Good Toy Guide will be helping parents choose the right toys for their children as well as answering questions on child development and play. The toy department will include a special play zone area for the children to try out a range of outdoor and travel toys whilst parents watch what they engage with and learn more about how the toys help children develop a range of skills.

John Lewis’ head buyer, Ian Ellis, believes “it’s important for consumers to make informed choices about their purchases and we’re passionate about empowering our customers to make decisions that are right for their own family. We’re proud to be associated with the Good Toy Guide and believe that parents and children will really enjoy this unique experience.”
