GP Flair unveils new Master Toy line for Gormiti

Published on: 22nd January 2019

Supported by a brand-new 3D CGI TV animation series, the extensive collection will be a major launch in autumn 2019.

The TV series is based on the Gormiti characters created by Giochi Preziosi in 2005, which in a short time became a global phenomenon as well as the main action property for kids across Europe, distributed in more than 50 countries. Sales of over 500m toys generated retail revenues of €1.5b.

Going on air on CITV in Q1 2019, the first season includes 52 episodes, lasting 11 minutes each, combining action and comedy and is aimed at a boys’ audience aged between five and eight years.

In addition to the TV series, and with an app, YouTube channel and interactive website, Gormiti 2019 is a full entertainment experience for kids.

Action Figures will be at the heart of the GP Flair products line with basic, deluxe and super deluxe to choose from, while the One Tower Playset will complement the collectible mini figure series. The Elemental Bracer, an essential tool to shoot and defeat the Darkans, is compatible with the action figures,

The collection will also integrate a new element of interactive game play, as every pack includes a trading card that can be used with the Gormiti app to unlock exclusive game content.

Emmanuelle Cadet, head of marketing, GP Flair commented: “The new Gormiti TV series is of an incredibly high quality. It is jam packed with all the elements that boys love, and we know that our interactive toy range echoes this perfectly. We are very excited about the launch and will be placing great emphasis on it in our marketing calendar. We can’t wait to show the collection off at Toy Fair.”

Visitors can view the collection on stand E39 at Toy Fair.
