Space is still available on the UK Pavilions at the Hong Kong and New York toy fairs.
The Birmingham Chamber of Commerce will once again be running British Pavilions at the key international toy shows in 2019. Organiser Stuart Whitehill told Toy World: “The UK pavilion at Spielwarenmesse is unfortunately now sold out. However, there is still availability for UK companies wanting to join us in Hong Kong and New York.”
Grants are available for eligible UK exhibitors at both events.
At the Hong Kong Toy Fair 2019, the grant level for eligible UK exhibitors is £2,500 per company. There are two stands left on the pavilion, which occupies a prime location on level 3 of the Hong Kong World Trade Centre.
The cost of a UK Pavilion booth is £529 per sqm and includes:
• Walls, carpet, illuminated UK features, lighting, electrical connections, fascia graphic and name board
• 1 table, 3 chairs, information counter, 2 flat shelves, lockable cabinet and a waste basket
• General stand lighting plus an allocation of x1 23w spotlights per 3 sqm.
All stands come with power supply to lighting, one power outlet (UK socket) per stand and electrical connection and consumption included.
As the largest event of its kind in Asia and the second largest in the world, the event welcomes over 2,100 exhibitors from 45 countries and regions. Six international group pavilions took part in the show this year, including the Chinese mainland, Korea, Spain, Taiwan and United Kingdom.
At the New York Toy Fair 2019, the grant level for eligible UK exhibitors is £2,000 per company.
The Birmingham Chamber will have an on-site representative present at the show during the build-up and opening days. Our representative will be available to support and assist each UK exhibitor on the pavilion and ensure that any issues are resolved quickly, allowing UK companies to concentrate on preparing themselves for the show.
The unsubsidised cost of UK Pavilion shell scheme stand package (Standard booth 8ft x 10ft) is £5200 and includes:
• 10’W x 8’H backwall with 3 rows of flat shelves
• Reception counter with exhibitor logo
• Standard carpet – royal blue
• Exhibitor logo header
• Exhibitor logo flag sign
• 30″ round table
• 3 chairs – standard black
• 5-amp electrical drop
New York Toy Fair is the perfect event to tap into the $27b US domestic toy market. The show attracts an estimated 30,000 global play professionals, with buyers from up to 100 countries connecting with over 1,000 exhibitors.
