Green Board Games sponsors Autism’s Got Talent 2019

Published on: 22nd May 2019

Saturday 4th May saw Green Board Games’ further support of the AKO (Anna Kennedy Online) charity.

Green Board Games has provided headline sponsorship for AKO’s annual hit production, Autism’s Got Talent.

The star-studded event took place at The Mermaid Theatre in London, showcasing performances from talented adults and children with autism. The performers consisted of singers, actors, musicians and dance troupes, in a stunning display of their incredible talents.

This year’s show was attended by X-Factor’s Gio Spano as well as Katie Price and her son Harvey who were filming her current series of My Crazy Life. Harvey expressed a desire to perform at the up-coming St Ives showcase, which is also sponsored by Green Board Games and underpins the company’s Inclusive Play.

Green Board Games’ has supported the charity for a number of years, recently exhibiting at the Autism Awareness Expo again last month at Uxbridge University. The company will also be sponsoring the Autism Hero Awards later in the year. Games such as My First BrainBoxes, BrainBox Story Cards, Qwirkle, Q-Bitz and many more, as well as Fat Brain’s Sensory Genius fidget toys, are all ideally suited to children who have varying levels of autistic spectrum disorder. These offer fun solutions for families to play together and encourage learning for all children.

Karen Nunn of the Green Board Game Company commented: “We are thrilled to be able to continue our support for the Anna Kennedy Online charity at this awe-inspiring event. At Green Board Games, we are dedicated to providing inclusive play for all, regardless of ability, and we are honoured to be able to assist Anna and her team in raising awareness of ASD and promoting inclusion of individuals on the spectrum or with any disability.”
